Beneath the Surface with Courtney Collins
Discovering the stories you need to tell
Beginners and experienced writers are invited to a two-day writing workshop presented by novelist and screenwriter Courtney Collins.
In the workshop, you will learn techniques that can be used to develop a story idea from scratch or bring more life to a work in progress, such as a poem, short story, novel or screenplay.
The techniques include:
– meditation for writers
– working with dreams
– ways to play with story structure
The purpose of this workshop is to help you grow courage to bring your works to completion.
Courtney Collins is a recipient of the Sidney Myer Fellowship for talent and courage in a creative field.
