Wondering about whether to use Scrivener to write your book? Or perhaps you’ve already tried to use it and have been overwhelmed by it, or feel as if you’re not really using it to its full capacity. Then come along to this Introduction to Scrivener workshop run by bestselling author Natasha Lester. Properly used, Scrivener can transform your writing process.
Natasha will walk you through the key functions of Scrivener and show you how you can use it to make your writing process more organised. We’ll cover setting up your document, using the binder and synopsis cards, the cork board, incorporating research documents, using Scrivener to manage your writing process, and much more. You’re welcome to bring your laptop, but this a demonstration rather than a hands-on, computer-based session for participants. Instead, Natasha will give you an overview of Scrivener, using examples of her manuscripts in Scrivener, so you will get a good sense of how Scrivener works, and how you can get the most out of the program. Natasha will be using Scrivener for Mac in this workshop, but Windows users will still find it useful, as much of the functionality is the same.
